in figure ABCD is a square of side 4cm. A quadrant of a circle of radius 1cm is drawn at each vertex of the square and a circle of diameter 2cm is also drawn.Find the area of shaded part ( use pai =3.14)

side of square = 4cm
radius of quadrant = 1cm
 radius of circle = 1 cm
area of shaded region = area of square - (area of 4 quadrants+ area of a circle)
  = (side)^2-(4* 90/360*22/7*1*1+22/7*1*1)
   = (4*4)- (22/7+22/7)
   = 16 -44/7
   = 112-44

   = 68/7 cm^2
