in figure AC=BD then prove that AB=CD​

this is so easy

given that AC = BD. .......(1)

to prove AB = CD.

proof :-

AC = AB + BC. .......(2)

and BD = BC + CD. ......(3)

on putting the value of equations 2 and 3 in equation 1, we get :-

AB + BC = BC + CD.

AB = CD. ( BC cancel each other at both side)

hence AB = CD
