In figure AD is a medium of Δ ABC and DE is a medium of Δ DAC. Show that

Area (Δ AED) = ¼ Area (Δ ABC).​

Hmm.... so this question is simple.

You just have to prove that the height of the triangle AED is 1/4 of the base of the triangle ABC.

But a simpler proof is the following:-

1/4 ar(ABC) = 1/2 ar(DAC) = ar(DEA)

And I think you can prove 1/4 ar(ABC) = 1/2 ar(DAC) and 1/2 ar(DAC) = ar(DEA) by yourself.
