In figure given above triangle AOB with co-ordinates of A and O as.( A,O)and (O,O) AB = 5 .Find the coordinates of B.

OA = 4 units

AB = 5 units

according to pythagoras theorem,

OA² + OB² = AB²

4² + y² = 5²

y² = 25 - 16

y = √9 = plus or minus 3

But in the given image it shows the positive y axis

so, the coordinates of B are ( 0, 3)
