In this question we have two find third side i.e.,BC

By pythagoras theorem...

10²=6²+BC²

100-36=BC²

So,BC=8

Now by Heron's formula for triangle...

Semi perimeter(S)=AB+BC+AC/2

=10+6+8/2=24/2=12cm

Now ar(tr.ABC)=sq. root.of s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

12(12-10)(12-6)(12-8)

12*2*6*4=576

So,ar(tr ABC)=sq root of 576=24 cm...

Cheers!
