in given figure ABPC is a quadrant of a circle of radius 14 cm and a semicircle is drawn with BC as diameter. find the area of the shaded region.

BC value will be 14√2.
calculate the area of quadrant ABPC
= 1/4 π (14) ^2

calculate the area of semi circle with BC dia
= 1/2 π (14√2) ^2

take difference of semi circle area from ABPC area.
this will give the required area of shaded region.
