In given figure bc is diameter . If ab =3cm ac = 4 cm and angle A= 90° find the shaded region region (Pi = 3.14)

In triangle ABC

 {bc}^{2}  = {3}^{2}  +  {4}^{2}

 {bc}^{2}  = 25

bc = 5

Area of triangle ABC

 \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 \times 4

 = 6c {m}^{2}

Since BC is diameter

radius =  \frac{1}{2} bc

Radius= 2.5cm

Area of circle =

\pi {r}^{2}

3.14 \times 2.5 \times 2.5

 = 19.625c {m}^{2}

Area of shaded part= Area of circle- Area of triangle ABC

19.625 - 6

 = 13.625c {m}^{2}
