The primary endosperm cell has 6 chromosomes in nucleus.

Explanation:

In the Haplopappus Gracilis number of chromosomes in cells of nucleus is 4. The diploid tissue with 2n = 4 but the primary endosperm is a triploid condition so the cell will have 2 \times 3=6 chromosomes.

So primary endosperm cell has the 6 chromosomes in nucleus. Each haploid nucleus of embryo sac contains the 4 chromosomes.

But if 2n=8 then the endosperm contains the 12 number of chromosomes.
