Given :-

  • in harithaharam 108, 84 and 60 saplings of mango, guava ans sapota supplied.

To find :-

  • minimum number of rows in which they can be planted if in each row same number of saplings of the same type are to be planted. ?

Solution :-

To find the minimum number of rows we have to find HCF of 108, 64 and 60.

Prime factors of 108, 64 and 60 are :-

→ 108 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 3 * 3 = 2² * 3³

→ 64 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 = 2⁶

→ 60 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 5 = 2² * 3 * 5

HCF = 2² * 3 = 4 * 3 = 12.

Hence, The minimum Number of rows are 12.
