Answer:

The cube can be arranged in 8 ways

Solution:

The dimension of the cube given is 2 \times 2 \times 2

The volume of this small cube is 2^{3}=8

Now the dimension of the large container is 4 \times 4 \times 4

The volume of this large container is 4^{3}=64

\text {number of ways in which the cube can be arranged inside the container }=\frac{\text {volume of the container}}{\text {volume of the cube}}

So we can keep the small cube in the large container in \frac{64}{8}=8 ways
