there are total 64 Square out of which 32 white & 32 black
now first choose a white block by 32 c1 now we can not choose 8 black squares so now choose one black square out of 24 by 24 c1
thus answer is 32 c1 *24c1= 32*24=768

Jezriel: 32x24 or 32! x 24! ?
Anonymous: just 32*24
