In ICSE board do you agree with the poet that reading is better than T. V watching? Why /why not

No, I do not agree with the poet of reading is better that watching TV because books are our best friends and without books it is really impossible for us to study. In TV, many bad things are shown which are not good for the students. The students can't study properly on TV. Studying long hours on TV can also lead to poor eyesight and can harm our eyes even.
So , I am completely not agreed with the poet's thoughts .
