Subject: The importance of midday meal.
Sir,
the mid day meal is one of the most important project that is started by the central government. The mail is one of the essential things which it is not properly received by the lower sectors of the society. As as result of this due to proper nutrition the parents send their children to school.
This not only prevents the the protein deficiency or the vitamin deficiency that lower economical children usually suffer from but also this helps in increasing the literacy of the country
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Ram Singh

Dear Sir,
Subject: Feedback on steps taken by Government to ensure 100% literacy in India
Our country is in dire need of being literate. The population is increasing at a very alarming rate and at this stage, every person needs to be educated at least on an elementary education level. I am glad that our government has taken very positive steps on introducing mid-day meals which would enhance and encourage parents as well as children to be present in school. However, somehow I still feel that the taboos of being educated and thus, breaking the conventions of our culture forces parents to keep their children home. Education is still not considered necessary as the kids are supposedly the acquaintances who should learn their parents' job and thus, continue with their profession. This fear from being educated needs to be eradicated from the society.
Hope this matter gains importance and is widely known through the esteemed column of your weekly.
I thank you in anticipation,
Regards,
Preeti Karn
