The fraction of the flowers in Joshis garden that are yellow tulips will be equal to yellow fraction of the total tulip flowers.

This comes out to be  2/3 of 3/4 = 2/3 X 3/4 = 6/12 = 1/2

Therefore 1/2 flowers or half of the total flowers are yellow tulips.
