Answer:

In Karnataka, 70 percent of the population makes use of ration shops while in Jharkhand only 6 percent of local population makes use of ration shops.

Explanation:

Well first thing that you need to keep in mind is that ration shops are government regulated shops that sell local and needy people with grocery at a regulated or government control price.

Well the fact that people make use of ration shops within their locality may depend on more than one factor. One of the most important factors is the access of these facilities to the OBC groups of people or the poor people.

Government has provided with this facility in each and every state of the country, but not many people are actually getting this particular benefit. One of the reasons is that the quality of ration that is given in these shops certainly may not be of good quality. Another major reason could be that not much of ration is available in these shops.

So when speaking of Karnataka state it is obvious that more number of people actually have access to these shops and at the same time ration is also available for people in these shops (Which is staple food Rice), as it is easily produced in this state.

In Jharkhand state, it is obvious that not many people have access to these shops or in some cases, even the ration is not available much. So if speaking of this stats, it is obvious that Karnataka state people are certainly using this facility, but it may also be right to say that they are still better off as compared to Jharkhand state people.

Answer:

While talking about the state of Karnataka, it is seen that a large number of people have access to the ration shops. This is because; the owner of these shops can easily buy Rice at a huge amount which is a staple food and all around available in the state.

But in case of Jharkhand, many people does not have access to these ration shops due to less quantity of supply. Hence, Karnataka will be a better off as compared to the people of Jharkhand.
