Answer:

Hope this answer helps you my friend...

According to the Puranas, he was the grandson of Shini of the Vrishni clan, and son of Satyaka, after whom he was named. A valiant warrior, Satyaki was devoted to Krishna and was a student of Arjuna.

Satyaki was a family member of Krishna as well as Pandavas, as they were his cousins. Also, the 3rd Pandavas Arjuna was his preceptor, so it is natural that he would side with them. He had always been the Pandavas' supporter. He was eager for this war as is already proved when he refuses any peace proposals.

Karna defeated Satyaki on the 16th day. There was an encounter between Karna and Arjuna. Karna gained an upper hand over Arjuna but Satyaki came forward and obstructed Karna. Karna defeated Satyaki and a group of Pandavas warriors including the likes of Bhima, Dhristadyumna, Nakula and Sahadeva.
