Answer:We get glucose from what we eat. In tissues this glucose is break down to get energy in the form of ATP which is stored in mitochondria. For such break down oxygen is required. (GLYCOLYSIS, LINK REACTION, KREB'S CYCLE ). To happen all the above oxygen is required separately. In this process of break down of glucose heat is also evolved which is used to maintain body temperature and excess heat is removed in theform of hot air (carbon dioxide )
