Answers:

1) Given, each student gets 11 litre of milk everyday. 30 litres of milk are distributed regularly.

1 child - 1 litre

x children- 30 litres

By cross multiplication,

x = 30/1 = 30

therefore, there are 30 students in the school

2) Rs. 6496 were collected

Rate of each ticket= Rs. 50

tickets sold = 6496/50

= 129.92 tickets were sold
