Yes I agree that modern farming methods require more inputs which are manufactured in industry.
Modern farming methods require inputs such a Farm machinery, fertilizers HYV seeds, pesticides, Canals, pump sets, diesel etc that can be manufactured only in industries.
Modern farming methods require both working as well as the capital. Thus, the farmers require more cash than before to start with farming.
The farmers of Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh was the first to try the modern farming methods in India.

yes modern farming methods require more input which is manufactured in industry initial before the Green Revolution the farmar uses manure such as a cow dung which is available in field so they don't need more inputs or they do not manufacturing industries they are available at their field but with outcome of the Green Revolution farmer now use the pesticides insecticides and other chemical fertilizers to increase the fertility of the soil and makes make soil fertile so this needs to have a more inputs and which is only manufacturers in industries and also the farmer need more cash to start up the various inputs because these are very expensive .
