2. For storage of food :-

› Tuberculated roots : Ipomea batata - Sweet potato

› Fasiculated roots : Dahlia

› Nodulated roots : Curcuma amada - Mango ginger plant.

› Beaded roots : Momordica charantia - Bittergourd

3. For support :-

› Prop roots - Ficus benghalensis - Banyan tree

› Climbing roots - Epipremnum aureum - Money plant

› Slit roots - Saccharum officinarum - Sugarcane
