in my text book there's also a line stating "if the substance has water(or moisture)" It directly implies to water also being termed as moisture and vice versa. Does any substance having "moisture", have to have water atoms in some way? for an example, the paste inside batteries contains manganese dioxide+charcoal. Note that charcoal's formula is C7H4O, containing both hydrogen and oxygen atoms.
