I think the correct option is d).

it takes millions of years.

crude oil means unrefined petroleum.

→and the process of forming petroleum is:-

when the sea organisms die, they body get burried under the layers of sand and clay in the bottom of sea. and under high pressure and high temperature it takes millions of years for their formation.

hence final answer is millions of years.

and therefore we should not waste it as it takes millions of years for their formation and their will be no minerals for our next generation.
