1. To encourage women to give more babies to the nation, they were given fine treatment, a concession on shops and on movie tickets.
2. Women who bore racially undesired babies were punished and those who gave racially acceptable children were awarded .
A gold cross was awarded to mothers of 8 or more children, silver to mothers of 6 children and bronze to mothers of four children.
3. All the Nordic Aryan women who went beyond the prescribed rules were publicly convicted and harshly penalized.
The rules :-
Women should not work for a living
Women should not wear trousers
Women should not wear makeup
Women should not wear high-heeled shoes
Women should not dye or perm their hair
Women should not go on slimming diets
4. Unmarried women were also encouraged to have children and for those without a husband they could visit the local Lebensborn where they could be made pregnant by a racially pure member of the SS.
