In NCERT exemplar enough for boards class 10th .

Is NCERT Exemplar Problems important for CBSE boards?

NCERT exemplar problems are extremely significant for acing your board exams. Thus avoiding these books on account of insignificance is not at all recommended.

But having said that the foremost priority must be given to NCERT-this book is the holy grail to excel in your exams. The concepts are easy to understand and it covers all the important topic in the curriculum.

Once and only once NCERT is completed, one should start practicing with exemplar problems and other sample papers.

It is good to practice NCERT Exemplar for boards class 10th as it includes extra questions of a higher level and are meant for aiding in-depth learning.

However, the NCERT exemplar should not be the only book you need as your first and foremost preference should be NCERT. You need NCERT exemplar in case of maths and science and that too if you aim to score full marks.

Otherwise, you just need these three books for your preparation.

  1. NCERT is the first and foremost preference because it covers 100% syllabus of the CBSE board and most of the subjective questions come from NCERT only.
  2. Question bank is needed for chapter-wise practice as accountancy needs rigorous practice.
  3. Then you need to solve atleast 10-12 sample papers. You need a good book like Educart sample papers that provides diverse questions like case-based, important NCERT questions and past 10 years questions with step-wise and well-explained solutions.
