Hi in Ni(CO)4 the oxdation no of
Ni=x+(0) then X=0
Ni has valance shell confgration is
3d^84s^2.
CO is a strong Ligand so it pair up the e.then s orbital become empty.so it shows Sp^3 Hybridization.and molecule formed.

In [Ni(CO)4], CO being a strong field ligand pairs up the outer most electrons of Nickel with the inner orbital electrons and and a free' s ' orbital is created and sp3 hyb. Structure is formed.
