a) This experiment conducted by Mendel explains about the dominant and recessive traits. It shows that the f1 generation only had Tall Trait which was expressed but when he self-pollinated two Tall plants of the F1 generation, he observed that Dwarf plant was also expressed but in the ratio of 3:1 i.e Tall:Short
This means that the trait was inherited in The tall F1 Generation plant but was not expressed and such type of traits are called Recessive Traits.
