In order to keep a bicycle moving steadily along a straight level road, we have to keep applying a force on it all the time. This is because of the
following force acting on it:
(a) Electrical force
(b) Frictional force acting between cycle wheels and the ground
(c) gravitational force
(d) magnetic force

A batsman hits a cricket ball which then rolls on the level ground. After
covering a short distance the ball comes to test. The ball stops due to:
(a) Magnetic force
(b) Gravitational force
to Frictional force
(d) Muscular force

Which of the following will produce the maximum friction
(a) rubbing a sand paper on glazed paper
(b) rubbing of sand paper on glass tab
(c) rubbing of sand paper on aluminium frame
(e) rubbing of sand paper on sand paper
