Answer:

= 1040 marks

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Number of marks to aggregate = 780 marks

Number of marks  declared by sonu =  728 marks

percentage  declared by sonu = 5%.

Let maximum marks aggregated  be x.

According to the question,

Then, 780 - 728 = 5% of x

⇒ 52 = 5% of x

∴ x = 5200/5 = 1040 marks

Hence, maximum aggregate marks a student can get in the examination is 1040 marks

Answer:

1040

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the maximum aggregate marks be 'x'.

Given that:

Sonu is required to get 780 marks but he got 720 marks and failed by 5%.

⇒ 780 - 728 = 5% of x

⇒ 52 = 5% of x

⇒ 52 = (5/100) * x

⇒ 5200 = 5x

⇒ x = 1040.

Maximum aggregate marks = 1040.

Hope it helps!
