Area of parrellelogram =2area of triangle area of parrellelogram is b*h and triangle is 1/2b*h so area of parrellelogram is 60cmsq.

we know that in a parellalogram,the opposite sides and angles are equal.
the diagonal divides the parellalogram into two congruent part such that the area of one part =area of another congruent part.
here the one part is a triangle whose area is 30 cm square.
the area of other part will also be equal to 30 cm square as they are congruent.
Therefore,
area of the parellalogram ABCD=2×30
=60 cm square is the answer
