Mensuration,

In the picture we have a parallelogram ABCD

We have that area of parallelogram ABCD = 56 cm²

We know that the diagonal of a parallelogram divides it into two equal parts.

Here the diagonal is AC,
So the area of ABC and ADC triangle will be equal,

so the area of triangle ABC will be half the area of parallelogram ABCD,

Therefore the area = 56 /2 cm² = 28 cm²

Area of triangle =1/2area of parrellelogram
So area of parrellelogram 56 area of triangle is equal to 56/2=28cm.
