In ΔPQR,∠Q=∠R.If PQ=6cm and QR=9cm.Then find the perimeter of ΔPQR.(mention proper steps and answer behind the book is 21cm)

Hello my friend,

In an isosceles triangle the median to the unequal side is the perpendicular bisector , so here in triangle PQR draw a median PD to the side QR. Now, follow the steps in the photo.

NOTE:

This process is long method which is used in school if you want to do it in shortcut method then there is some method so called isosceles triangle property where if two angles in a triangle are equal then the two sides are also equal so by using the you can do it directly without using these many steps.....
