In ∆PQR, seg PQ ≅ seg QR and ∠P = 70° , then find the measures of remaining angles of ∆PQR.

find:

We know that PQ = QR

we can see that the traingle shows the property of isoceles triangle that two sides of a triangle is equal

from this we can conclude that triangle PQR is a isoceles .

So we know that if two sides of a triangle is equal then their base or opposite angles of side are equal.

so,

∠R = ∠P = 70°

and

∠R + ∠P + ∠Q = 180°( Angle sum property)

70 + 70 +∠Q = 180°

140  + ∠Q = 180°

∠Q = 180 - 140

∠Q = 40°

So all sides are 40,70,70
