(The options are missing. So, I will share my own thoughts.)

I feel that smart watches are in demand mainly because of the convenience that they offer.

They are sleek, not heavy devices which can be worn on the wrist all day without feeling any discomfort. In fact, they are just like the watches that we have worn for so long. The only difference is that smart watches come loaded with features. These features include heart rate monitors, step counters, internet friendly interfaces and much more. The watches have thus made life more convenient. A person does not even need a blood pressure machine or an oxymeter to check one's pulse rate. A smart watch also gives information on the distance walked and calories burnt. Additionally, the ability to receive and make calls through smart watches saves one the effort of reaching into the pocket or handbag to pull the cellphone out.

So, these features that make life so convenient, are the real reason behind the growing popularity of smart watches across the world.
