in rice when purple pigmented plant was crossed with green pigmented plant ,the F1 appeared grren pigmented.on F2 the segregation of two types of pigmentation was as follows -purple pigmented 90 and green pigmented 410 .what may be the genetic basics for the segregation of pigmentation of F2​

Explanation:Mendle gave three laws of genetics namely law of dominance, law of Segregation and law of independent assortment

Law of Segregation states that in a monohybrid cross there is Segregation of genes and only on allele appear at a time(dominant allele). In f2 generation the other alleles could be seen after crossing over.
