In right angle ∆ ABC right angled at C side AB = 29 cm , BC = 20 cm, then find the length of side CA.

in right angled triangle ABC.

by using pythagoras theorem .

( hypotenuse )² = ( height )² + ( base ) ²

According to question :

AB = 29 cm , BC = 20 cm , AC = ?

SOLTUION :

AC ² = AB² - BC²

AC ² = ( 29 )² - ( 20 )²

AC² = 841 - 400

AC² = 441

AC = √441

AC = 21 cm

so , the length of the side AC = 21 cm .
