Given : In right triangle ABC, Angle CAB =90 AE Perpendicular to CB and BD is median AC=2 Cm  AB= 2√3

To find : AE

Solution:

Area of Δ ABC = (1/2) * AC * AB

= (1/2) * 2  * 2√3

= 2√3  cm²

Area of Δ ABC = (1/2) BC * AE

BC² = AC² + AB²

=> BC² = 2² + (2√3)²

=> BC² = 4 + 12

=> BC² = 16

=> BC = 4

Area of Δ ABC = (1/2) * 4 * AE  = 2AE

2AE = 2√3

=> AE = √3

AE =  √3    cm
