in saponification reaction the product is ch3coona as it is a soap which is prepared during the saponification rection

Ehhh..... As I remember SAPONIFICATION REACTION is CH3COOC2H5 (Under NaOH) —> CH3CH2OH + CH3COONA or CH3COOH
