a) From the given statement, expected changes are given below:

i) Colour turns from blue to green.

ii) A brown colour is found to be deposited on iron nail surface.

b) Yes, the nature of these changes are chemical. The reason behind this is 'iron sulphate' and copper are produced in the reaction.

c) The reaction is:

Copper sulphate(Blue)+Iron(Shining white)→Iron sulphate(Green)+Copper(Brown).

The type of reaction is displacement reaction.

Explanation:

(a) According to given situation, the solution A is of copper sulphate which is blue in colour. Now, iron is added to it and a green colour solution is formed with brown colour deposit this means ferrous sulphate solution is formed and copper is deposited thus iron displaced the copper in solution which means it is a displacement reaction.

(b) Here chemical change is taking place and also displacement is taking place.
