Here is your answer,

In SO2
32g of S contains 32g of O2,

Therefore,

for 3g of O2 will have X grams of suplhur

SO2 O2

X -----------------> 3g

32g --------------> 32g

Therefore by cross multiply,

X = 3 x 32/32

X = 3g of Suplhur

Therefore for 3g of oxygen it contains 3g of Sulphur.

I hope this might have helped you.

Answer:

3g of sulphur

Explanation:

X = 3g

32g = 32g

Cross multiplication

32x = 32(3)

x = 32(3)/32

x = 96/32

x = 3g

So, sulphur in So2 is 3g
