5% found ineligible

Let Eligible Student=x

Now 85% of x is of general category

Student in general category

 \frac{85}{100} \times x \\ \\ general \: student = \frac{17x}{20}

And Remaining is Other category

x-17x/20

20x-17x/20

=3x/20

3x/20=4275

x=4275×20/3

x=28500

MEANS Eligible STUDENT=28500

And its 95%

And ineligible=5%

Now Let Total Student=x
Then 95 % of x=28500

95/100×x=28500
x=28500×100/95
x=300×100
x=30000

\boxed{\mathsf{Total\:Student=30000}}

pratyush4211: is that right fast
amitnrw: 30000
