Each petal is further cut in two parts from the centre and pasted on the cylinder. In step 3, the cylinder is opened to form a rectangle. If the diameter of the mosambi is 7 cm, what will be the dimensions of the empty part of the rectangle?

Firstly the paper cylinder cut into same radius. so the radius will be same.

If d =7

r=7/2

circumference of empty field=2×22/7×7/2=22

we all know that object which have thin strip is 1.75

so we multiply it to circumference

22cm ×1.75cm.
