in summer, when valves of a bicycle tube are removed, the escaping air appears to be cold. why?

This is because Tube is made of an insulating material that keeps the inside of it cool. Hence, the air that escpapes out appears to be cold as compared to the external environment.

It is because the temperature of the gas that's escaped goes down and it expands adiabatically.This is because there is no heat transferred to or from the gas as it escapes,as the process is too fast
