HELLO FRIENDS,

In nature fluorine gas more reactive than chlorine gas because due to size of its atom. since size of atom of flourine is smaller outer shell is closer to the nucleus and due to smaller size if a new electrom come near to this atom nucleus will attract fastly.

Best of luck ;)

The electron affinity of fluorine is less than chlorine . But florine is more reactive than chlorine due to the following reason .
1) Low dissociation energy of F2 molecule , and high hydration energy of F− ion.
2) The electronegativity of fluorine is more than that of chlorine .
