In the absence of photosynthesis, life is impossible on the earth. Explain.

Photosynthesis is important for the existence of life on this earth . In the absence of photosynthesis , would not be possible on earth . This is due to the following reasons.
i) Photosynthesis by plants provides food to animals (including human being ) . So , the survival of animals including human beings depend on the food made by plants by photosynthesis . In the absence of photosynthesis , there would be no plants on the earth and hence no animals will survive.
ii) The process of photosynthesis by plants put oxygen gas into the air . It is this oxygen gas which the animals use for breathing and respiration. 

So, due to this all reasons life is impossible on the earth in the absence of photosynthesis.

Through photosynthesis, plants are able to produce their food and if it's not occur then no plants is able to survive and hence no animals will survive on the earth as there will be no oxygen and food cycle in absence of photosynthesis. Therefore, life is impossible on earth without photosynthesis.

Photosynthesis is a physiological phenomenon which occurs in autotrophs such as plants and algae. It is a process through which food is synthesized from the raw materials like water and CO2 in the greenish part of plants and algae which contain chlorophyll in the presence of sunlight.

As Photosynthesis provides food to all autotrophs therefore it's necessary for autotrophs. And if autotrophs or the producers of ecosystems are present then only the consumers or heterotrophs are able to exist in nature. Because heterotrophs directly or indirectly depend on plants for nutrition. Also, through photosynthesis oxygen is released in the environment which is the utmost thing for survival of animals and other organisms. Thus, if photosynthesis is not present then there will be no food and oxygen in the environment and hence no organism will be able to survive on earth.
