Solution:
∠ABC = ∠ACB
D is on AC & E is on AB
=> ∠EBC = ∠DCB
in Δ EBC & ΔDCB
BC = BC common
∠EBC = ∠DCB
BE = CD Given
=> Δ EBC ≅ ΔDCB using SAS rule
