In the adjoining figure, angle B=70° and angle A=50°. If the bisector of angle C meets AB in D, then find angle ADC
In my book's back, answer is written as 100°​

Answer:

according to question :-

angle BCD = angle ACD (DC is bisector of angle C)

x = x

now

50+70+x+x = 180 (angle sum property)

120+2x= 180

2x = 180-120

x = 60/2 = 30

angle ACD = x = 30 degree

now

50+30+angle ADC = 180

angle ADC = 180-80 = 100

angle ADC = 100 degree
