Explanation:

Given : angle AOB-40°

then,angle CDB-40°[corresponding angle]

As we know that the sum of two consecutive interior angles is supplementary.

so,. angle ECD +angle CDB = 180°

=>angle ECD= 180°-40°

=>angle ECD=140°
