In the adjoining figure, PQR is a right angled triangle at Q. If PQ = 3 cm and PR = 6 cm, find ∠QPR and ∠PRQ.

Explanation:

PQR is a right angled triangle at Q.PQ = 3 cm and PR = 6 cm

Find ∠QPR and ∠PRQ.

Sec ∠QPR = Hypotenuse / Adjacent = PR / PQ = 6 / 3 = 2

Sec 60°  = 2

Therefore ∠QPR = 60°  

Cosec ∠PRQ = Hypotenuse / Opposite = PR / PQ = 6 / 3 = 2

Cosec 30°  = 2

Therefore ∠PRQ = 30°  

Hence solved.
