let the tangents drawn be PA and PB and the radius of circle = a
now int he triangle PAO -
angle a = 90 line joining tangent to point of contact
and angle APO = 30 by properties of tangent.
now by asp
angle AOP = 60
so now by cos 60= OA/OP
1/2=OA/OP
OP= 2OA
now OA=a
so OP=2a
