. In the below figure, ABCD is a parallelogram, AE  DC and CF  AD. If AB = 16 cm, AE =
8 cm and CF = 10 cm, find AD

Answer:

area of paralellogram=1/2×base×height

=1/2×16×8

=64

area of parallelogram =1/2×10×AD

=5AD

5AD=64

AD=12.8cm
